Lugano

The Swiss side of the lake wasn’t as impressive, though it might be that I’m too spoiled. Anyway, to your attention: mountains, lakes and stunning sunsets.

Milan

I don’t know a single Italian person that likes Milan.

Apparently it’s too hot over summer, too foggy and cold over winter. People in Milan are rude, coffee is bad, food is awful. It’s busy and expensive, it’s not green and not welcoming.

But I like Milan. It reminds me of my hometown… cleaner and better version of my hometown. After living in London for a year, Milan appeared to me as a medium size, multicultural, well-connected, comfortable, designed for work and living city.

It has beautiful light due to its equally tall buildings and wide streets. And locals grow jungles on the roofs of their buildings, how adorable.
